Hello everyone, Shalom in Christ! Welcome again to the devotional program, “Joseph at the Marketplace” by GLOBAL REACHOUT. I am Tom Nohelty.

Day 11: A Chance for Revenge

Today, the Scripture is taken from: Genesis 40:23-41:45.

Theme verse:

“You shall be over my house, and all my people shall order themselves as you command.” Genesis 41: 40 (ESV)

In Genesis 41, Pharaoh’s cupbearer said, “Today I am reminded of my shortcomings.” No kidding. He let an innocent man rot in prison for two years—a man who came through for him when he needed it most. That’s a bit more serious than forgetting someone’s birthday. Let’s not overlook Potiphar and his wife who wronged Joseph even more......

Time for Reflections.

1. How much do you crave vindication?

2. What does your view of God have to do with wanting vindication?

3. Compare your view of God and your view of people. What does it tell you?
